PLANETROX 2025

 

Planetrox Is A Four-Step Process:
Each participating band must register online at www.planetrox.ca before March 30th 2025 at midnight (EDT). Each band must send a link to one of their original songs – send the subscription fee’s payment (30$CDN taxes and fees included).
A panel of international industry judges will choose the 4 European finalists from the songs submitted.
The 4 finalists will perform for a 45 minutes set live at the ROCK FOR PEOPLE festival in Czech Republic on June 11th. The voting will be a panel of judges from Europe and Canada (100%);
The winning band will be invited to perform 2 concerts at one of Canada’s biggest live music events, the Envol et Macadam Festival in Quebec City, between September 11th to 13th 2025.
Eligibility
Band members must be older than 18 years old to register to the Competition;
Subscription only takes place online on www.planetrox.ca. You must register by filling in the subscription form;
The cost is 30$ CND and the payment can only be made on the website www.planetrox.ca;
Bands must have a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 members. The band must have never produced a CD with a multinational label
Music style accepted : rock, indie, punk, metal, hard-core music

Description of the Prize

The European finalists will be chosen by judges from Envol et Macadam and Rock for People. The European finalists will get 500 Euros for their travel expenses by bank transfer after their performance at RFP ;
The European winners will fly to Quebec City to perform at the 2025 Envol et Macadam Festival ;  

The Planetrox winner’s price includes :
Two live performances of 30 minutes at the after party (indoor) and the outdoor stage at the Envol et Macadam Festival 2025;

Airfares for the winning band members (10,000 CND maximum budget is available – flight/travel costs that exceed this amount are the responsibility of the band)

Internal travel to the hotel from the airport;

Four nights at a hotel for the band in Quebec City;

Free passes for the Festivals and promotion of your band into the festival’s communications.

Full backline will be provided at the European final and the Envol et Macadam Festival ;

The price is only for the band members who performed live on stage. The price only includes what is specifically detailed above, all stopovers, additional nights or crew members required by the band will be at their expenses. Band members must all have a valid electronic passport and acquire the appropriate visa to enter Canada, if necessary.

Planetrox Europe 2024

The Planetrox Europe final took place yesterday at the Rock for People festival and the winner is Fall From Everest 🎉

They will come to Quebec in September to play at Envol et Macadam and at the Music 4 Cancer festival! ✈️🇨🇦

Planetrox Chine 2024

La finale de Planetrox Chine a eu lieu le 11 mai au East Live de Beijing et c’est le groupe Dashentong 大神通 qui a gagné! 🎉

Ils s’envoleront donc vers Québec en septembre pour venir jouer à Envol et Macadam et à et Music 4 Cancer! 🇨🇳✈️🇨🇦

Planetrox Europe 2024

Time to announce our 2024 Planetrox Europe finalists! 🎉

Nearly a hundred bands from 11 European countries took part in Planetrox Europe this year. Congrats to all the bands! The final of the competition will be held on June 12, during the Rock for People festival in Czechia.
