Québec City, September 8, 2025 – The Envol et Macadam festival will launch its 28th edition this Thursday at the Agora du Port de Québec. Presented in collaboration with Molson Export, this must-see event for music lovers will run from September 11 to 13, bringing together internationally renowned bands, iconic figures of the Québec scene, and emerging talents in a vibrant urban format across multiple stages: the Agora du Port de Québec, L’Anti Bar & Spectacles, La Source de la Martinière, the Charlesbourg Campus, the Scanner, and the Knock-Out!
Three Days of Alternative Music in the Heart of the City
On Thursday, September 11, admission to the Agora is free for everyone. The evening promises to be explosive with the legendary collaboration between Mononc’ Serge & Anonymus, preceded by the iconic metal band Voivod, the technical metal of Martyr, the return of cult group GFK, and Enfants Sauvages, who are set to deliver a spectacular performance.
Meanwhile, the Montaigne Hall at the Charlesbourg Campus will pulse to ska punk with Mad Caddies, The Corps, and The Filthy Radicals, while Holy Locust, Cadmium, and DiTrani Brothers take over La Source de la Martinière. The night will continue into the early hours at L’Anti with À l’Ombre d’Héméra, Scare, and Reanimator.
On Friday, September 12, two monuments of California punk rock—Pennywise and Face to Face—will electrify the Agora stage, joined by Béton Armé and Blooming Discord, winner of Planetrox Europe.
At the same time, L’Anti will host Czech band Krang alongside King Thief and The Last Mile, while the Scanner will feature the abrasive sounds of Scarfold, The Ground Shaker, and Burning Attic. To keep the party going, La Source de la Martinière will present the official Envol et Macadam Karaoke Night (free admission), offering a festive chance to sing into the wee hours.
On Saturday, September 13, festivalgoers can enjoy free daytime activities, including the return of the popular EXO Game of Skate at the Agora. In the evening, the grand finale will set the stage ablaze with The Interrupters, Streetlight Manifesto, The Planet Smashers, The Anti-Queens, and The Robert’s Creek Saloon. The energy will spread across the city: KJT, D-Track, and MadMic will fire up La Source de la Martinière for a francophone rap night, while Death Before Dishonor, Street Power, Testify, and Blooming Discord take over L’Anti. Meanwhile, the Scanner and the Knock-Out! will present free shows, featuring The Carringtons, The Lookout, Mr. Weather, and acoustic performances by The Options and All My Friends Have Kids.
