Have No Heroes
A political Post-Soviet punk-rock/hardcore hailing from Riga, Latvia, with melodies and socio-political
subtext leaving no one uninspired. HAVE NO HEROES started in 2016 and just released their 2nd full-
length album, titled “Letters to Nowhere” on the Swedish record label Black Star Foundation.
Have No Heroes first album, “Plastic World” was released by the band themselves. With no promotion and
mostly by word of mouth, the band’s music got spread like wildfire and gained listeners all over the world
(statistics say that most listeners are situated in Canada, but then… that’s no lie to state that the Canadians
know about the best political skatepunk available, huh).
At the end of December 2024 the band went on a great Japan tour, a bit earlier 2024, a brand new single
called “Upside-down World” was released, which gained plenty of good reviews and features. In 2022 the
band released their 2nd full-length album “Letters To Nowhere” (CD, digital, and Vinyl) on the Swedish
record label Black Star Foundation (Atlas Losing Grip, Enemy Alliance, Idle Class, Children Of Fall, The
Idoru, This Calling, Meleeh, Fights & Fires) on May 20, and was followed by shows in the Baltics as well as
several European tours. A 2025 Euro tour is currently being booked.
Have No Heroes is a four-piece band in the category of bands like Propagandhi, Rise Against, and already
mentioned Atlas Losing Grip. If they would have been American they would have been on Epixxxx records
by now and booked by some of the more prominent booking agencies. But still, the future looks bright for
HAVE NO HEROES… give “Letters to Nowhere” a spin and we really hope you’ll like it.
