Québec City, September 7, 2026 — The 29th edition of the Envol et Macadam Festival kicks off this Thursday! From September 10 to 12, more than 30 artists from eight different countries will converge on Québec City for three days of punk, hardcore, metal and alternative music at the Agora du Port de Québec and several partner venues across the city.
Presented in collaboration with Molson Export, this year’s festival will bring together major international acts such as Bad Religion, Hatebreed, Vader, Teenage Bottlerocket, Satanic Surfers, Guttermouth and A Wilhelm Scream, well-known Québec bands including Despised Icon, Les Goules, Orloge Simard, Mute and DVTR, along with an extensive selection of emerging artists from Québec and abroad.
A Free Night to Kick Off the Festivities
The festival gets underway on Thursday, September 10 at the Agora du Port de Québec, with all concerts that evening offered free of charge.
Penny & The Pits will open the festivities at 6 p.m., followed by DVTR at 7 p.m. and Orloge Simard at 8 p.m. Les Goules will close out the first night at the Agora at 9:15 p.m.
The evening will then continue at L’Anti Bar & Spectacles with Vie de Quartier and Pasteur Papillon.
Metal and Hardcore Take Center Stage on Friday
On Friday, September 11, things will get much heavier at the Agora with a night headlined by Hatebreed and Despised Icon. Polish death metal legends Vader will also take the stage, alongside Drop Out Cold and Luther, the German band crowned winner of Planetrox Europe 2026.
After the Agora concerts, the festival will continue at several venues across Québec City. Jungle Rot, Fleshcrawl and Trash Panda will take over L’Anti Bar & Spectacles, while Death By Stereo, MakeWar, Have No Heroes and Fair Do’s will perform at La Source de la Martinière. Ruby Slipper, Poolgirl and The Leftovers will take the stage at Scanner Bistro, where admission is free.
A Full Day of Punk Rock Culminating with Bad Religion
On Saturday, September 12, doors at the Agora will open at 1:30 p.m. for a full day of punk rock.
General Chaos will kick things off at 2 p.m., followed by Guttermouth, Cross Dog, A Wilhelm Scream, Mute, Satanic Surfers and Teenage Bottlerocket. At 9:15 p.m., the legendary Bad Religion will close out the 29th edition on the Agora du Port de Québec stage.
The festivities will then continue indoors with For I Am, Killing Daisies and Doghouse Rose at L’Anti Bar & Spectacles, Tout Croche and Dogo Suicide at La Source de la Martinière, and Fragmatik, Luther and Nova Spei at Scanner Bistro. Once again, all shows presented at Scanner Bistro will be free of charge.

An International Lineup with Strong Québec Roots
True to its mission, Envol et Macadam once again brings together established artists and emerging talent from around the world while maintaining a strong commitment to Québec’s music scene.
The 2026 lineup features artists from eight countries as well as several regions across Québec. Nearly 40% of the bands on this year’s lineup also include at least one female member, reflecting the festival’s continued commitment to diversity and inclusion.
This 29th edition also holds special significance for Envol et Macadam, which celebrates 30 years of existence and support for alternative music in 2026.
Tickets and Practical Information
The AGORA Pass provides access to concerts presented at the Agora du Port de Québec. Single-day tickets for the Agora, as well as tickets for the various indoor shows, are also available.
AGORA Pass holders receive a 50% discount on tickets for indoor concerts through the promotional code provided with their purchase.
All concerts presented at the Agora on Thursday, September 10 are free, as are all shows at Scanner Bistro, where space is limited. Admission to the Agora is also free for children under the age of 10.
Festivalgoers are strongly encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance. Online prices offer better value, as ticket prices will increase once doors open for tickets purchased directly at the venue.

Envol et Macadam: 30 Years of Alternative Music in Québec City
Since 1996, Envol et Macadam has helped promote alternative music by providing a platform for both emerging and established artists from Québec and around the world. In 2026, the organization celebrates 30 years of existence while presenting its 29th edition, following the cancellation of one edition during the pandemic.
