Street Power is a hardcore band from the South Shore of Massachusetts, founded by Chris Cesarini—a veteran of the Brockton punk/hardcore scene. After years of playing guitar in bands like Back of tha Neck and Years Apart, Chris stepped out of his comfort zone to become a frontman, channeling his unfiltered vision through raw and aggressive vocals.
Born from a desire to return to the unpolished roots of hardcore, Street Power delivers heavy, fast, and visceral music, in the spirit of bands like Death Before Dishonor, Payback, and Product of Waste. Their self-titled debut EP, written with Matt Azevedo, is fueled by authentic rage drawn from social collapse, police violence, and everyday struggles. Each track reflects lived experiences and a fierce resistance to oppression.
With pounding riffs, sharp lyrics, and explosive live performances, Street Power represents the new wave of East Coast hardcore—fiercely DIY, politically charged, and deeply rooted in its underground legacy.
