Béton Armé

Béton Armé is a punk/Oi! band founded in 2018. Now a staple on the global punk scene, the band stands out with its original music featuring catchy rhythms and captivating choruses, as well as universally celebrated live performances. Since their formation, Béton Armé has released a self-titled demo on LSC Records in 2018, a first EP titled Au bord du gouffre on Primator Crew (France) in 2020, a split 7-inch with Buffalo’s Violent Way, jointly produced by Primator Crew Records and Contra Records (Germany) in 2021, and an EP called Second souffle released by Primator Crew (France) and Roachleg Records (New York, USA).
Their numerous live shows have drawn attention from the global punk community. In addition to performing in Quebec and Ontario, the band played a series of shows in Detroit, Milwaukee, and Chicago in fall 2019. They also hit the West Coast of the U.S. in summer 2021, participating in the Lie Detector Festival in Los Angeles and playing two more shows in Long Beach, California. That same summer, they traveled to Vancouver to perform at the Have a Good Laugh Festival. They also played multiple shows in New York (4), Philadelphia (5), and other cities in the U.S. Northeast—including Buffalo, Boston, and Pittsburgh—during a summer 2022 tour with the French band Squelette.
More recently, the band completed a 14-show European tour. This run took them through various cities in France, Belgium, England, and Germany. Highlights include the last edition of Static Shock Weekend in London (England) and the Bal des Vauriens in Vitry-sur-Seine (France).
In March 2024, Béton Armé embarked on a 10-show tour along the U.S. West Coast, playing to audiences from Los Angeles to Seattle. They plan to travel to Spain in August 2024 for the Beach, Beer and Chaos festival in Badalona, near Barcelona. In September, the band will start their biggest tour to date, opening for Soft Kill. This 14-show tour will take them to the following cities: Portland, Reno, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Santa Ana, Phoenix, Albuquerque, Denver, Omaha, Kansas City, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and Brooklyn.
