Despised Icon is a pioneering Canadian deathcore band from Montreal, formed in 2002 by vocalist Alex Erian and others. Known for blending death metal with hardcore and featuring dual vocals, they released acclaimed albums like The Healing Process (2005). After disbanding in 2010, they reformed in 2014, continuing to release music, including 2025’s Shadow Work.
