Groovy Aardvark

One of the most iconic figures in the Quebec alternative rock scene,
Groovy Aardvark has left a lasting impression for three decades. With the release
of “Vacuum” in 1996, which includes the hits “Dérangeant” and a lively cover
of Felix Leclerc’s “Le petit bonheur,” they experienced a meteoric rise.

Four albums followed, with the final one, “Sévices rendus,” in 2005. Since then,
Groovy has sporadically reunited for a few concerts. In 2019, the band joined forces
with Slam Disques to embark on a myriad of new projects, including the release of a
double vinyl edition of their albums “Vacuum” and “Eater’s Digest.”

To this day, Groovy Aardvark remains one of the most influential and respected rock bands

Today, Groovy Aardvark’s legacy endures, as they remain an essential part of the alternative rock history in Quebec, inspiring both old and new generations of fans.
