Try Again

Try Again was born in 1996, during the peak of the Punk Rock scene in Quebec City. All the members are, in fact, originally from this city. Between 1997 and 2004, they performed over 200 concerts, opening for bands such as Strung Out, Guttermouth, and Adhesive. The group’s first release was “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter,” a 4-song cassette released in 1998 under the label Punk Without Mohawx. In 1999, they released a split with the band Reward from Trois-Rivières while awaiting the release of their first full album in 2000, “Final Lap.” Their second LP, “Mind Over Matter,” came out in 2002 under the label Milk & Cookies Records.

Always thirsty for Punk Rock, the band reunited in 2017 for a few concerts after a 13-year absence from the stage. The pleasure of playing together again led them back to the studio, and they have just finished recording a new EP that will be released in the fall of 2023.
